Adult Improving Access to Psychological Therapies Data Collection

Since September 2020, an additional Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) template has been included within the eCollection tool.

This will enable the capture of learner information as starter snapshot across the collection cycle where there would otherwise have been a significant delay until the next SDCT census point. This is an open template where education providers provide information relating to courses with a start date from the 1 September 2020 across the 2020/21 schedule.

The collection will work in conjunction with the main Student Data Collection, aligned to but not duplicating so that in months where there is already a Student Data Collection census point no stand-alone IAPT collection is required.

The IAPT template will remain open at all times and only needs to be completed if there is new activity between full Student Data Collection submissions. This information will enable focused oversight of IAPT training numbers at a regional and national level and underpin risk mitigation strategies to address any shortfall.
