Pre Employment Management Platform Discovery

The Future of Healthcare Work Experience Discovery Report and the subsequent Response Paper were published last year, both can be found above. Since their publication Health Education England has continued to explore the option outlined in the report around the creation of a national work experience platform, where people will be able to view the opportunities on offer and apply for them. 

This further exploration, which was needed in order to obtain a greater understanding of user need in this area took the form of a second Discovery exercise. Furthermore, the scope of the proposed national work experience platform was expanded to also include pre-employment activities. The findings of this second Discovery exercise have now been published here. An Executive summary of the report can also be found here.

The Widening Access and Participation team of HEE, is now looking at the digital options around the creation of the platform, the finds of this element of this work will be published on these pages in due course.
