Our work

CapitalNurse has two pan-London workstreams, and multiple local initiatives delivered under the CapitalNurse brand, such as across STP footprints.


The two pan-London workstreams are:

  1. Training - The training workstream looks at encouraging more people to study in London to be nurses, and for more of those who begin their training to enter the nursing workforce in London. For more information please see Routes into nursing and Standardised numeracy testing.
  2. Retention - The retention workstream looks at supporting nurses to continue their nursing career in London; and also to enable consistent high standard of nursing care across London, by reducing unwanted variation.
